The slideshow begins by diminishing fears about the exam with a guessing activity and discussion on who takes the TOEIC and why,  then with a video and quiz on FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) to familiarize students with the test.

Students will set their target score based on the score of peers in their country and age group, and then take a mini-test to see where they stand.  This will give students an idea of how many hours per week of study outside of class will be needed to reach their goal on time.  As a teacher you will be unique.  No other course calculates self-study time like this.
